Hawzah News Agency- Muhammad ibn Ali ibn Bashshar al-Qazwini (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated from al-Muzaffar ibn Ahmad and Ali ibn Muhammad ibn Sulayman, who both narrated from Ali ibn Ja’far al-Baghdadi, from Ja’far ibn Muhammad ibn Malik al-Kufi, from al-Hasan ibn Rashid, from Ali ibn Salim, from his father that Imam Sadiq (pbuh) said:
The least by which a man departs from faith is to sit with an exaggerator (ghali)(1), listen to his speech, and believe his words. Indeed, my father narrated to me from his father, from his grandfather (pbut), that the Messenger of Allah (pbuh and his family) said: ‘Two groups of my nation have no share in Islam: the Exaggerators (Al-Ghulah) and the Qadariyyah (those who believe in coercion or delegation).’
(1)Commentary: The Exaggerators are those who exaggerate in praising the infalibles and compare them with Allah.
